January 17th morning news, according to U.S. technology blog AppleInsider reported that Apple will launch 4G iPhone in October this year. Analysts believe that with the Apple help, in 2012, LTE compatible 4G network smartphone is expected to account for the global mobile phone shipments in 4% to 5%.
LTE this year’s global smart phone shipments could be as high as 5%, the specific number will between 2.5 million and 300 million units.
